I'll share the sentiment, but I'm biased. I love robots, so of course I'll say that. But I think there is a fundamental truth to something that is not human that is doing stuff that helps humans, that makes it fascinating.

But it does not take machinist out of the job. The machinist sits on a table with a desk, talking to their robot, looking at the performance of the machine. Rather than just being limited to one machine, they can like manage multiple machines at the same time.

So, this, in my opinion, is the tool where the best of our blue-collar or human labor meets the technology, so the dullness, dangerous, and the dirty part of the jobs are done by a mechanical thing, and then the human still has this oversight, this power of like, you know, the human intelligence and intuition to make these robot agents do the things how they like.
