AI agents will collapse GTM silos and become preferred over human sellers

Most go-to-market teams are getting wrong is they're looking at AI to create efficiency gains. But I don't think that's going to move the needle.
I truly believe there will be a collapse of like the go-to-market functions and silos, like marketing, sales, customer success are all going to collapse together. Humans are going to be managing outcomes, systems are going to be built for outcomes, and humans are going to be managing first touch to close to renewal to upsell because the AI is going to not only do all the things that we saw in that Open AI article... but AI is also going to be the communication. AI is also going to be the trusted adviser and the source of information.
I think the job of a CSM is like, in theory, a really good job. We had humans doing it because we didn't have good enough technology, but eventually it's the technology that does makes a customer successful at using the product is a very like customized one-to-one touch type of thing that you can get AI to do relatively easily, especially compared to the average CSM, which is just horrible. Like the average CSM is like really, really bad.
- There will be a collapse of go-to-market functions and silos, with marketing, sales, and customer success collapsing together, and humans managing outcomes while AI handles operations.
- Most go-to-market teams are getting AI wrong by focusing on efficiency gains instead of fundamentally reshaping go-to-market motions through outcome-driven conversations.
- AI agents shouldn't just send top-of-funnel emails; they should actively lead conversations in live, multi-hundred-thousand-dollar enterprise deals.
- People will eventually prefer interacting with AI over humans for sales, actively asking for AI agents rather than human agents as trust in AI grows.
- The value in AI for Go-to-Market is not in a human-like face, but in the multi-agent orchestration that provides rich context and hyper-personalized one-to-one experiences.
- AI can provide a deeper understanding and solution-oriented conversation by processing vast amounts of information and framing answers based on the buyer's specific pain points, which humans struggle to do.
- The role of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) is fundamentally changing; they will become more strategic thinkers and solution architects, rather than task-oriented doers, with AI handling repetitive tasks.
- AI companies will ultimately shift from solely supporting human roles to creating business models where human interaction is not feasible, addressing buyers' needs directly where there's no existing human business model.
- $278,000 deal (Closed from one in-person meeting where an AI agent (Nigel) actively participated, going through procurement in one week.)
- 33% talk time (Nigel (OneMind's AI agent) contributed 33% of the talk time in a 2.5-hour in-person enterprise meeting.)
- 5% error rate (OneMind's AI has a 5% error rate, which is considered exceptional given the complexity of sales interactions (compared to financial services where 5% is unacceptable).)
- 98% accuracy (OneMind's AI achieves 98% accuracy across all its customers, with the worst-performing customer at 97.5% accuracy.)
- 10,000 case studies (A customer (Qualtrics) has integrated 10,000 case studies into their Superhuman's brain, allowing the AI to leverage this vast knowledge.)
- 15 agents (Each Superhuman from OneMind has roughly 15 AI agents working behind the scenes for multi-agent orchestration.)
- 25% increase in sales rep productivity (Customers using Terret (an AI platform) are seeing a 25% increase in sales rep productivity.)
- 50% efficiency gain in RevOps output (Customers using Terret are seeing a 50% efficiency gain in their RevOps output.)
- Live in 48 hours (Terret claims that customers can be live with their platform in 48 hours.)
- 100 founding seats (Pavilion Scale is opening 100 founding seats for its council program.)
RevBots.ai View:
- ARM stage orgs will replace silos with AI orchestrators handling full lifecycle.
- AI Sprinkler teams waste potential by using AI only for task automation.
- Trust in AI advisors requires multi-agent systems, not just human-like interfaces.
- CSM roles must evolve into solution architects as AI handles transactional work.
